Skoda Key Covers

Škoda keys come in two families: the flip key, with a metal blade that folds out at the press of a button, and the KESSY smart key, which stays in your pocket while you unlock and start the car. The newest generation of KESSY arrived with the fourth-generation Octavia and the Enyaq. Each cover below is made for one specific key, so the quickest way to find yours is to look at the key itself rather than the model name.

Which Škoda key do you have?

Key shape How to recognise it Commonly found on
Flip Key 3-Button Fold-out metal blade, silver release button, rectangular body Fabia, Octavia, Superb
Angular Flip Key 3-Button Fold-out blade, sharper angular body Fabia, Octavia, Superb
Chrome Top 3-Button Smart key with a chrome-finished top Octavia, Superb, Karoq
Angular 3-Button Smart key with sharp, asymmetric lines; lock, unlock and boot buttons stacked vertically Octavia, Superb, Kodiaq
Asymmetrical Alarm Style Smart key with 5 buttons, including remote start and alarm Octavia (4th gen), Enyaq, Superb, Kodiaq

Two quick checks

  • Does a metal blade flip out when you press a button? Then you have a flip key: choose between the rectangular Flip Key and the sharper Angular Flip Key by the shape of the body.
  • No flip-out blade? Then it's a smart key. Count the buttons: three means the Chrome Top or Angular 3-Button, five (with remote start and alarm) means the Asymmetrical Alarm Style.

The same model can come with different keys depending on trim and market. Still unsure? Send a photo of your key on WhatsApp (+370 63170051) or to info@vietiki.com and we'll tell you which cover fits.

Good to know about Škoda smart keys

  • A smart key hides a small mechanical key blade inside it, for opening the driver's door if the key or car battery is flat.
  • A flat key battery doesn't leave you stranded: Škoda says the car can still be started by holding the key near the start button on older models, or placing it in the cup holder on newer ones such as the fourth-generation Octavia and the Enyaq.
  • Our covers are thin, hand-stitched Alcantara with the buttons marked on top, so lock, unlock and keyless entry keep working as normal.
