Infiniti Key Covers

Infiniti calls its keyless fob the Intelligent Key: carry it and you can lock and unlock the doors and start the engine with the Start/Stop button. The covers here are cut for the oval Intelligent Key, black with the Infiniti emblem at the top and its buttons on a silver strip, in its two-, three- and four-button versions. Each one is hand-stitched Alcantara, with the button symbols pressed into the material.

Go by the buttons, not the model

All four keys have lock and unlock at the top, so look at what comes next: nothing, a trunk button, a red panic button, or both. Our listings name the Q50 and Q60 under more than one of these covers, so the model name alone won't tell you which one fits.

From Infiniti's owner guide

  • Unlocking: with the key on you, touch the button on a front door handle, the trunk lid or the liftgate to unlock that door; touch it again to unlock all the doors.
  • Weak battery: if the key only works when you are within about two feet (60 cm) of the car, Infiniti says the battery needs replacing. The engine will still start: depending on the car, either touch the Start/Stop button with the key, wait for the chime and press the button with your foot on the brake within 10 seconds, or put the key into the key port on the lower left of the dashboard.
  • The hidden blade: a thin metal key blade inside the fob opens the driver's door in an emergency and locks the glove box and trunk when you leave the car with a valet. It can't start the engine.
